The Digital Institute (TDI) is the Social Enterprise arm of the Vue Networks group of companies, providing Micro-Learning and Micro-Jobs for the Mid-career and Older Workers. TDI and Loving Heart MSC, with the support of e2i have piloted a Micro Learning programme for the pre-Elderly and Elderly in Digital Media Micro Skills. These participants who are residents of Yuhua SMC attended classes on Audio & Video Production, Post Production and Online Channel Creation. The students were quickly assigned to produce video segments for the Yuhua Hari Raya Open House live show on YouTube. This pilot project has seen much interest and we will be rolling out a whole series of Digital Media Micro Courses over the next few months.
